Kevin, is hula hooping considered as cardio exercise? izit a good exercise for tummy/belly?
Salam Hafizahtul. Since you asked in English so allow me to answer in English as well. Any exercise that increases the heartbeat and bloodflow is considered cardio exercise (hence the name cardiovascular referring to the heart).
With regards to the actual exercise, it is more for the hips rather than tummy. This form of exercise is regularly performed by swimmers especially those doing butterfly stroke. They need a strong but flexible hips to achieve a better stroke technique.
The simplest tummy exercise is holding your breath and tuck your tummy in for a few seconds whilst sitting down. After 10 repetitions, you will start to feel your tummy muscles tightening. Sorry i didn’t let kevin answer this first.
