4 hours of Muay Thai (5 days a week) is too much?
Hi Kevin,
I’ve lost 7kilos in 2 months since September 2011 by doing Muay Thai everyday except Sunday. i started with 2 hours every session for the first month and start doing 4 hours twice a week now. I’m thinking of going for 4 hours everyday now.my friends call me crazy because they know its an intense workout and some told me to slow down a little bit.is it too much?and should i be eating more than 1200 calories if i were to proceed with 4 hours of training?
My goal is to lose 25kg in total by April.

i personally think its too much for the long term … 4 hours is a lot which can result in a lot of wear n tear and if pushed too far too often can result in injuries. My advice is – dont go overboard but most importantly listen to your body and allow for at least 2 full days of rest per week and schedule some time off in between to allow the wear n tear to properly heal.
