Healthy Food Choices at Mamak and Malaysian Food Court?
I started watching what I ate – calorie wise about 2 weeks ago and I keep a food journal ro record my calorie intake. Unfortunately, as I work full time, i find it difficult to keep my calorie intake within my requirements – especially when socializing after work – at mamak stalls. I have checked out cekodok.com. but i’m finding it difficult to find out the number of calories in basic things like maggi goreng or teppanyaki (food court). Any advise on better food options when I visit these establishments?

Try Myfitnesspal.com to check calorie intake on most Malaysia food. If you’re using smartphone, there’s an app for it. It got general idea of calories for typical Malaysian food(i’m sure it’s not that accurate since anyone can put calories for certain food). But if u go to mamak stalls, the best food choice would be chapati, naan, chicken tandoori, basically anything with less oil.
