I jog and do weight training but don’t lose weight. Why?
Hi kevin, I want to ask about weight training.I had lost about 10kg now since I bought your e-book.Now I tried to include weight training in my routine because my weight is very stagnant now even I do jogging 3x a week. But my weight still maintain even I did weight training 2x a week.Kindly advice me the diet and proper weight training+cardio.

Hello Rudir,
Congrats on your weight loss. YES weight training is a great addition to your exericse routine – but it comes with both PROS and well “CONS”
PRO: If will help you look leaner and overall better.
CON: Weight training will help you add muscles mass which will of course make you gain weight.
If you combine weight training and cardio etc into your program, dont get too obsessed with what you weight but what is most important is how you look!
Hope this helps.

LikeDislikeRudir,
I once experienced plateau like you did now. I started off with 95 kg and went down to 83 kg. however my weight became stagnant and yo-yo ups and down +-2 kg for almost 3 months. During this period, I do a lot weight training with some cardio interval. I also did lose a few inches. From what I learned from Kevin and other health’s website sources, I could have gained weight due to muscle addition and lost some fat, as muscle take a good care to burned them (hence, the few inches lost). But the thing is, my weight did not change much. My concern at that moment was to reduce weight, so I changed my routine a bit. Instead of doing a lot more weight training, I increased my cardio exercises – ranging from jogging, running, futsal etc. weight training? well, I just use 3 kg dumbell to do some basic routine, not much tho. From my experience, cardio had helped me to shed off the stubborn fat (given that u practice balanced diet, and cut off some calories as well). and now I managed to get to my ideal weight, which is 65 kg. so from now onward, I am gonna start doing high intensity weight training and less cardio. I am expecting my weight is going to be up a little bit bit, but that of course, due to muscle that I am gonna build, to achieve my goal to have a leaner and fitter body.
cheers, just my two cents
