I just joined gym last september and the reult quite slow.
originally my weight was 56kg and my height 5′ 6″(176cm) and now my weight is 1kg and sometime it varies up n down by 500grams.
How can i improve? I take hormon 1nce a week/ jap that suggested by my instructor.. is taht good enough?
hope u’ll advise me in addition i’m taking testosterone and tecca (dunt know the
spelling) supplied by my instructor taken once a week. Jap at d buttock.

Firstly I would strongly advice you against taking any hormone based japs/steroids. They are dangerous and not the answer.
Weight gain is about 3 things
1.Nutrition
Tanpa makanan badan anda tidak bole membesar (tambah berat badan). Jadi, untuk weight gain, azreel firstly kena pastikan anda makan 5-7 kali sehari dengan makananan yang seimbang.
Contoh Meal Plan
i. Pagi
ii. Snack
iii. Lunch
iv. Snack
v. Preworkout
vi. Postworkout
vii. Dinner
viii. Snack
2.Training
Training mengangkat berat adalah perangsang kepada tumbesaran badan. Tanpa perangsang yang baik, otot tidak mempunyai sebab untuk ingin membesar. Kalau tiada perangsang, makanan berlebihan hanya disimpan sebagai lemak dan bukan sebagai otot baru.
a. Melatih semata2 pun tak ke mana. Yang penting adalah quality latihan bukan quantity.
b. Quality training not quantiti
c. Push yourself dengan tingkatkan beban tanpa hilang form
d. Rehat secukupnya selepas latihan.
e. Pre dan postworkout adalah a must.
3. Supplements
Natural food or sports supplements are great sebab it gives you want you need. Tapi anda harus faham keperluan anda. Since your goal is weight gain, anda bole pertimbangkan.
i. Calories – Weight gainers sesuai sekiranya kurang disiplin untuk makan. Kalau tak pun protein powders are essential.
ii. Tenaga – Creatine tingkatkan ATP (tenaga) output dengan semula jadi.
iii. Recovery – Glutamine baik untuk cepatkan proses pemulihan Selepas workout

thanks xis! yeah spent a good couple of weeks in my free time to put this all together.
Not that it would normally take that long but cuma I was experimenting with lots of things that took up a lot of time. :D
If I were to do it all over again, maybe it’ll take a day or 2 ;)

I’ve been introduced to your site by my friend Xis, I am impressed by your new layout. Good job!
I was an obese kid three years back. But I made a drastic decision in 2004 that I want to loose weight, I did, and now I feel good about myself, I did it for my health coz I’ve experince a serious heart burn one night and thought, that’s it, its time for a change.
I completed 2 years of cardio training program and now thinking about strength workout. But taking it slow coz I’m not pro in the work out field.
Anyway, I’ll be dropping by at your site more often now for inspiration. Thanks again.

steroids alone don’t actually make you big. They increase your hormones/ability to get bigger. They are stimulants…but the side effects (see article) are not worth it.

Berat saya hanya 47kg dgn ketinggian 169cm. Saya malu berdepan dengan kawan kerana terlalu kurus (underweight). Umur saya pertengahan 30an dan skrg cuba untuk menambahkan berat badan sekurang-kurangnya kepada 65 kg (hmm… banyak tuh).
Blh syorkan kaedah makanan yang sesuai sperti yang saya baca dalam blog saudara iaitu makan 5-7 kali sehari dengan makananan yang seimbang. Terdapat kebimbangan kepada saya sekiranya mengambil carbs yang begitu banyak sehari akan mengakibatkan diabetes. Begitu juga dengan pengambilan lemak berlebihan menambah kandungan kolestrol dalam tubuh.
Harap saudara dapat membantu jenis diet yang sesuai untuk menambah berat kepada lelaki dalam usia pertengahan 30an tanpa memudaratkan kesihatan.

apekz – creatine probably supplement (yg bukan berbentuk makanan) yg terbaik untuk weight gain…assuming you weight train la.
aad_lfcfn – although it is not halal certified, whey protein and weight gainers tidah mengandungi apa2 ingredient from animals expect for milk (dairy produk).

How is creatine, good for weight gaining?
I don’t use creatine personally, but I have read about it extensively. It, in simplest terms, increases the muscular strength and introduces water. However, I don’t understand how it’s the best supplement for weight gaining.
Personally, as a serious ectomorph, all I did to gain from 60KG-72KG’s was, up my calories to about 3500 calories and do a whole lot of compound lifts. I also trained a major load of push presses, squats and deadlifts, with a little bench occasionally.
Worked okay for me.

kirksman – creatine is the best non-food supplement for weight training….in short it’ll increase your atp output and causes cell volumization (added water)….so the side effect would be that you’d look a lil soft but if you are looking to gain weight, it shouldn’t be a concern.

bone, u need about 10g glutamine sehari. selain daripada supplement, glutamine juga bole didapti daripada daging lembu, ikan dll…..samada perlu supplement extra? Itu bergantung kepada ur budget….for me I use it ketika weight loss phase….maybe 2-3 bulan/year.

liyana, senaman dengan pemberat adalah peransang untuk tumbesaran otot. so yes, saya sangat mensyorkan liyana untuk giat aktif in weight training.

apa perbezaan antara CLA(conjugated linoleic acid) and L-carnitine..which one yg membantu turun berat bdn?..taking CLA or L-carnitine ni elok ke?..will it cause cancer or other illness later on?..
is there any exercises that should be avoided for a flat-footed person mcm i ni..coz i’m currently training under a personal trainer..dah almost 5 months..but lately i rasa sakit lutut and sakit tulang belakang..i’ve informed him..but just wanna get 2nd opinion..

newbie – creatine is a natural product yang boleh didapati from red meat yes…..tapi halal la…macam susu lembu yang diimport.

maz akma – CLA, L-carnitine dan banyak produk yang lain seperti thyroid based or thermobased semuanya boleh membantu dalam usaha menurunkan berat badan. Thermo based adalah yang paling popular.
Cancer? Not that I’m aware off.
If you are flat-footed, make sure you get the right shoes. You want shoes yang are paling rigid, durable, control-oriented running shoes that limit over-pronation. Check out adidas stores @ KLCC or anywhere and get them to advice you. Make sure you get enough shock-absorption to reduce pressure on your knees and lower back.

saya skrg dlm latihan utk menguruskan badan ada org suggest utk mengambil abb pure pro atau muscletech nitrotech sblm work out untuk bantu burn fat, build muscle dan tenaga. Tapi saya takut klu ambil product nih nanti tumbuh muscle besar dan berketul hee boleh jadi mcm tu ker…
Lagi satu boleh ker saya ambil bersama lipo6 utk membantu menurunkan berat bdn dgn lebih cepat, saya masuk gym utk latihan berat 2 x seminggu dan kardio 3 x seminggu. Sebenarnya kat mana boleh saya refer untuk ambil apa-2 supplemtn untuk work out ini ya..

Sblm ni sy menggunakan 100% Whey Protien Gold Standard daripada Optimum Nutrition (ON) tp sy dah berhenti menggunakan product ni sbb from one post in internet forum kata product ON x halal. Jd sy ingin mencuba product lain. How about MuscleTech Nitro-Tech Hardcore? One product yg sy tau yg certified halal is Horleys (halal status from Islamic body in New Zealand).
