<p><strong>Jurulatih kecergasan, Kevin Zahri punya tip untuk kekal cergas pada bulan ini.</strong></p>
<p>MELAKUKAN aktiviti fizikal atau senaman pada bulan Ramadan mungkin kedengaran tidak masuk akal bagi sesetengah orang. Berdepan dengan cabaran tanpa makan dan minum hampir 14 jam sudah pun begitu mencabar ketahanan apatah lagi melibatkan diri dalam aktiviti fizikal.</p>
<p>Ramai juga yang mungkin beranggapan adalah lebih baik untuk menghentikan segala aktiviti fizikal seketika sehinggalah berakhirnya Ramadan. Malah, pendapat seperti ini nampaknya munasabah memandangkan tubuh dikhuatiri akan kehilangan lebih banyak air jika menjalani latihan senaman. Jadi, adakah senaman digalakkan pada bulan puasa?</p>
<p><span id="more-743"></span></p>
<p>Jurulatih kecergasan terkemuka, Kevin Zahri yang dihubungi Kosmo! baru-baru ini berkata, senaman sepanjang Ramadan bukan sesuatu yang diwajibkan tetapi digalakkan. Namun, semua ini bergantung kepada ketahanan fizikal seseorang individu, jenis senaman dan masa melakukannya.</p>
<p>Sebenarnya, sama ada mahu bersenam atau tidak, ia adalah pilihan masing-masing. Tetapi, sudah tentu bersenam ketika bulan puasa ada garis panduannya,&#8221; katanya.</p>
<p>Menurut Kevin, cabaran melakukan aktiviti fizikal dan senaman pada bulan mulia ini terletak kepada masalah tubuh seandainya tersilap memilih waktu dan bentuk senaman yang dilakukan.</p>
<p>&#8220;Keadaan iklim negara yang panas lembap mungkin menyebabkan tubuh dehidrasi. Jadi, bergiat dalam aktiviti sukan atau kardio sebelum berbuka tidak akan membantu. Sebaliknya, berpuasa dan aktif akan menjurus kepada masalah kehilangan air.</p>
<p>&#8220;Melainkan jika anda ingin membakar lemak, maka melakukan aktiviti ringan pada sebelah petang iaitu sebelum berbuka digalakkan. Berjoging secara perlahan merupakan contoh terbaik,&#8221; jelasnya sambil menyifatkan masa di antara 6.30 petang hingga 7 petang sebagai masa paling sesuai melakukan aktiviti ringan.</p>
<p>Tempoh masa selama setengah jam sudah cukup ideal dan memadai agar tidak mengundang kepenatan serius.</p>

<p>Aktiviti fizikal bagaimanapun tidak digalakkan pada sebelah pagi selepas bersahur kerana bimbang akan menjurus kepada masalah dehidrasi.</p>
<p>Bagi mereka yang berhasrat untuk melibatkan diri dalam aktiviti fizikal selepas berbuka, Kevin menasihatkan agar tidak terus melakukannya sejurus selepas berbuka.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8230;katakanlah jika anda ingin melakukannya sekitar pukul 7.30 malam, jadi hidangan yang diambil ketika berbuka adalah ringan dan mudah dihadamkan&#8230;</p></blockquote>

<p>Biar pun dengan lambakan dan godaan makanan serta kecenderungan makan setelah lebih 12 jam berpuasa, Kevin memberitahu, kebanyakan orang akan kehilangan berat badan sepanjang Ramadan.</p>
<p>Jelasnya, amat sukar berat seseorang bertambah pada Ramadan tidak kira betapa banyak yang telah dimakan. Ini kerana hidangan yang diambil sepanjang mengerjakan ibadah puasa tidaklah sebanyak berbanding diet pada hari-hari biasa.</p>
<p>Tambahan pula, kata Kevin, kurangnya selera makan dan keletihan sewaktu bersahur menghalang seseorang daripada makan berlebihan. Atas sebab itu, kebanyakan kita akan kehilangan sedikit berat badan dan otot tanpa perlu berusaha kuat.</p>
<p>Dalam pada itu, Kevin menegaskan agar latihan atau senaman berat (angkat berat) harus dielakkan ketika berpuasa. Tubuh yang kekurangan nutrisi tidak mempunyai tenaga bagi menampung senaman berat. Tambahan juga, jika anda bertegas melakukannya, anda mungkin menghadapi masalah mengecaj semula nutrisi yang hilang.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8230;untuk senaman berat ketika berpuasa, tubuh bukan sahaja tidak mempunyai tenaga untuk melakukannya tetapi badan akan memecahkan otot untuk sumber tenaga, jadi, ia satu kerugian&#8230;</p></blockquote>
<p>&#8220;Jika hendak lakukan senaman berat ketika berpuasa, tubuh bukan sahaja tidak mempunyai tenaga untuk melakukannya tetapi badan akan memecahkan otot untuk sumber tenaga, jadi, ia satu kerugian,&#8221; katanya.</p>
<p>Bagaimanapun, seperti juga aktiviti atau latihan kardio yang lain, senaman berat boleh dilakukan selepas berbuka.</p>
<p>&#8220;Asalkan tubuh menerima hidangan sebelum bersenam dan dicaj semula dengan hidangan pasca-senaman, senaman berat boleh dilakukan.</p>
<p>&#8220;Memandangkan amat sukar untuk membentuk otot pada Ramadan, maka jadikanlah ini masa yang baik bagi melatih mengekalkan sebarang jirim otot yang telah diperoleh sebelum Ramadan,&#8221; jelasnya.</p>

<h4>The strength of ‘Cikgu Fitness’</h4>
<p>KUALA LUMPUR: There is definitely more to Kevin Zahri, the well-known Cikgu Fitness from the reality series Akademi Fantasia, than meets the eyes. </p>

<p>The macho-looking 29-year-old is not only a television host but also a health and fitness entrepreneur who has founded two Internet portals, namely <a href="http://maxtrition.com.my">maxtrition.com.my</a> and <a href="http://maxhosting.com.my">maxhosting.com.my</a>. </p>
<blockquote><p>I am a person who has a lot of belief in myself and I started the business because I did not want to work for a paycheque but wanted to do something that makes me happy,</p></blockquote>
<p>Refusing to be bound by a 9 to 5 job, Kevin decided to launch maxtrition.com.my, an online supplement store, at the age of 25 four years ago. </p>
<p>“I am a person who has a lot of belief in myself and I started the business because I did not want to work for a paycheque but wanted to do something that makes me happy,” he said.  </p>
<p>Kevin will be one of the speakers at the National Youth Entrepreneur Convention during the three-day MCA 9-Point Party Platform Exhibition at Putra World Trade Centre from Jan 18.  </p>
<p>The mechanical engineering and economics graduate will tell the audience of his experience as a young entrepreneur in this country.  </p>
<p>As a person who has a lot of self-belief, Kevin&#8217;s advice to the youngsters who want to start their own business is that there is no shortcut to success.  </p>
