FITNESS Concept Specialist opened its store at the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur recently.
At the new outlet, customers can find treadmills, cross trainers, exercise bikes, home gym, weight benchers, as well as a wide range of fitness accessories like yoga mats, jump ropes, gym balls, dumbbells, gloves and health supplements.
Fitness Concept’s managing director Bernard Au Yong said the store’s vision was to see at least one fitness device in every home and to be the leader within the fitness industry, not just in Malaysia but also in the Asian region .
The Fitness Concept store in Pavilion is the company’s first home wellness collection store, which offers fitness gadgets as well as value-added services such as fitness consultation and personal training courses conducted by certified fitness instructors.
It also provides short-term rental and service back-up support.
Customers who purchase fitness equipment worth RM2,000 and above are entitled to buy a Polar Heart Rate Monitor at 10% discount or a Protective Equipment Mat from RM49 onwards.
Purchases of RM5,000 and above will entitle them to two complimentary Personal Training Programme that’s good for two sessions with a certified personal trainer worth RM300.

Great store and merchandise too. The salesperson, ermmm… not so great. Maybe because of the competitive nature. See, I went to one of the FC store in Klang area (newly opened,) the salesmen there seems to be competing with each other to get customers as when I walked in they’re almost runnning towards me. One guy managed to speak to me while the other one who’s just few steps away is backing off with a weird look. everytime I passed by the shop (I went to this shooping centre a lot) these people doesn’t seems to talk to each other. Talk about teamwork eh.
