Jadi apabila saya ditegur (yes, saya pun ditegur. Selalunya oleh ayah saya yang disayangi.), Saya selalu memberikan penyelasan berikut:

Betul. Memang tidak elok membazir atau membuang rezeki. Tetapi niat saya di sini bukanlah untuk membazir. Allah SWT itu maha mengetahui dan memahami. Niat saya adalah untuk menjaga kesihatan diri. Tip Untuk Elak Dari Membazir Semasa Berdiet

Untuk elakkan pembaziran semasa berdiet, cuba amalkan tip-tip berikut:

  1. Jangan ikut nafsu makan semata-mata. Rancang terleblih dahulu.
  2. Cuba ambil lauk sendiri.
  3. Pesan kepada waiter/waitress yang anda inginkan gelas kecil, nasi separuh, kurang gula dan lain-lain
  4. Kalau makan bersama keluarga, cuba pesan satu gelas air manis yang boleh dikongsi. Ini juga jimatkan duit.
  5. Kalau pesan terlebih, cuba tapau yang selebihnya.
  6. Elakkan tempat makan (terutamanya restaurant) di mana saiz hidangan memang besar.
Selamat berdiet dan cuba elakkan dari membazir. Ingatlah mereka yang kurang bernasib baik.

Tiada specific reason. Semuanya bermula apabila saya mendaftarkan diri di Celebrity Fitness yang baru dibuka di kawasan rumah dan gym ialah tempat ketiga yang paling banyak saya luangkan masa selain di rumah dan di pejabat.

Pernah mencuba produk Herbalife tetapi setelah beberapa bulan tak boleh teruskan kerana terlalu muak dengan protein shake.

Saya berjaya kurangakn 33kg dalam masa 18 bulan. Mulanya berat saya 98kg dan sekarang sudah turun menjadi 65kg.

4) Bagaimana anda mencapainya?

  • Saya pergi ke gym for cardio workout setiap hari. Pada fasa permulaan saya melakukan power walk selama sejam.
  • Saya suka untuk menetapkan target berapa kalori yang perlu saya bakar setiap hari. Contohnya bagi permulaan 200cal for half an hour of power walk dan naikkan target through the time.
  • Disebabkan badan yang masih berat saya tidak berlari kerana berlari hanya akan membuatkan kita cepat letih. Selepas latihan cardio saya lakukan sedikit latihan beban.
  • Ini berlanjutan sehingga berat saya stagnant. Pada ketika ini, saya berhenti melakukan power walk dan menggunakan crossramp yang menumpukan exercise di bahagian kaki.Seperti biasa saya juga tetapkan berapa kalori yang saya ingin bakar untuk sehari iaitu 700-800cal.
  • Latihan beban tidak boleh diabaikan kerana ia penting untuk firming muscle.
  • Saya juga mengamalkan diet yang seimbang dan calorie counting setiap makanan yang saya consume.
  • Selain menggunakan cardio equipment, saya juga masuk ke kelas yang disediakan di gym seperti yoga dan bodycombat.

Latihan beban tidak boleh diabaikan kerana ia penting untuk firming muscle.

Sekarang, gym merupakan rumah kedua saya dan merupakan tempat untuk saya release tension.

5) Apa pesanan/tip anda untuk orang di luar sana?

  • Control your food intake
  • Have your cheat day. I.e Saya memang suka makan desserts but eat in moderate volume.
  • Diet is not about not eating but eats in the right way.
  • Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, dinner like a pauper.
  • Increase your physical activity i.e. choose the staircase instead of elevator.
  • Minum air masak banyak-banyak.
  • Exercise. (It’s hard to start, but when u have the momentum it’s hard to stop).
  • Determination is the key word.

10 Tip Motivasi dalam Diet

Tidak dinafikan menjalani satu-satu program diet (tidak kiralah untuk menaikkan berat badan atau menurunkan berat badan) pastinya akan mendatangkan tekanan kepada mental untuk jangka masa panjang. Tekanan ini pula, apabila tidak dibendung akan menganggu fokus anda sekaligus akan merosakkan diet itu sendiri. Pada ketika ini, apa yang anda perlukan anda motivasi supaya terus berusaha sehingga matlamat program tercapai. Motivasi? Motivasi yang macam mana tu?

  1. 'Kata-kata perangsang' dari teman dan keluarga
    Kata-kata perangsang bukan sahaja bermaksud 'selamat berjaya', 'anda boleh', atau 'tiada perkara yang mustahil', tetapi ia termasuklah juga ayat-ayat yang menggunakan kata-kata perli seperti 'bila kau nak kurus wahai si gemuk', 'boroi', 'tulang bergerak' atau 'cicak kobeng'. Kata-kata perangsang juga boleh jadi hadir daripada doktor yang merawat atau memantau pencapaian kesihatan anda.
  2. Pelaburan untuk kesihatan (gym)
    Adakalanya wang itu amat berharga. Memandangkan minda anda sudah berfikir demikian, maka apa kata jika anda laburkan sahaja beberapa ratus ringgit (atau ribuan ringgit) untuk membayar yuran gym sepanjang 12 bulan ke hadapan? Rugi? Tidak rugi pun, melainkan jika anda mengelat dan tidak pergi ke gym langsung sepanjang minggu itu, maka itu baru boleh dikatakan rugi.

    Punya teman-teman wanita? Buat si perempuan pula, ada tak lelaki yang anda suka? Jadikan mereka sebagai pembakar semangat anda yang nombor satu. Anggap saja anda akan mampu 'menawan' hati mereka setelah anda memiliki bentuk badan yang mantap (meskipun anda tahu yang lamaran anda kelak akan ditolak mentah-mentah, terutamanya jika wanita pembakar semangat anda adalah artis seperti Lisa Surihani).
  4. Baju-baju idaman
    Siapa cakap baju-baju zaman 'muda' itu hanya tinggal sejarah? Inilah masanya untuk anda menghidupkan kembali era kegemilangan anda dengan mengenakan pakaian-pakaian tersebut. Selain itu, jika anda berhajat untuk membeli baju baru, belilah baju yang 'menggambarkan' diri anda selepas tercapainya matlamat. Sebagai contoh, jika anda sedang dalam usaha untuk menurunkan berat badan, belilah baju yang bersaiz M, meskipun anda tahu saiz semasa korang adalah XXXL.

    Tidak dinafikan, pergaulan bersama mereka yang mempunyai gaya hidup berorientasikan gaya hidup sihat amat membantu dalam mengekalkan motivasi anda sepanjang menjalani program diet yang berkenaan. Mereka yang tergolong dalam komuniti ini pasti ada sahaja perkara atau aktiviti 'outdoor' baru yang akan dibuat pada setiap hujung minggu. Dengan menyertai gym, peluang anda untuk bertemu kawan baru dan masuk ke dalam komuniti seperti ini akan menjadi semakin cerah.

  9. Bayangan masa hadapan
    Lihat diri anda di hadapan cermin, dan ambil gambar seminggu sekali. Setelah beberapa minggu, bandingkan diri anda dari minggu pertama hingga minggu yang terkini. Ada perubahan? lebih bersemangat? dapat lebih motivasi? Kemudian, dengan imaginasi yang tak seberapa, buatlah bayangan rupa anda setelah matlamat anda akan tercapai kelak. Ada seperti Hrithik Roshan atau Salman Khan tak?
  10. 'Self-Reward Day' atau 'Cheat day'
    Tak salah kalau dalam tempoh 2 minggu, anda sediakan SATU HARI yang dikenali sebagai 'self-reward day' atau 'cheating day' – yakni anda boleh makan apa sahaja yang anda nak, dengan syarat jangan menyeksa diri sehingga rasa kenyang yang melampau. Nikmat makan aiskrim, KFC, pizza, char kuey teow, buntut ayam panggang, dan segala jenis makanan yang berkalori tinggi, 2 minggu sekali, adalah sangat LUAR BIASA berbanding dimakan hari-hari.
  11. Berasa semakin sihat
    Pasti terdapat banyak perbezaan setelah berat badan anda berada di tahap idle/normal, berbanding ketika anda memiliki berat badan sebelumnya, terutama dari segi kepantasan pergerakan, kelincahan dan stamina. Berada pada tahap normal bererti badan anda akan lebih dinamik ketika bergerak, tanpa sebarang halangan dalaman seperti semput atau mengah. Ini lah yang dimaksudkan dengan sihat.
