Its good to be in Malaysia!
Looking at the newspapers today…it sure feels good to be in Malaysia. Where the world is worried about world politics, the (never-ending) middle east crisis, terrorism, and other front-page worthy news..we in Malaysia have it good..hahaha….we are focused on the “marriage and breakup of the year”…..don’t we have better things to worry about?
I remember when I was in sekolah menengah….“harga ayam” constantly made headline news. Am I complaining? hahahahah…good question!!!! I would like to hope that Malaysia has better things to focus on rather than Siti & Mawi or is politics and reformation too sensitive of an issue?
Malaysia is blessed
But then again..I’m grateful to be in a country that is pretty much free of war, natural disasters and is neither loved nore hated around the world. We’re OK! And although I have spent more than half my life in Germany & the USA, Malaysia is my home, my Tanah air, and the place I call home! Malaysia is my land of opportunity.
Like when people tell me I look foreign, my immediate response always is “alaa..rupa je tapi hati Melayu” after all I am Truly Malaysia(n) 😉
Malaysia: Selamat Menyambut Hari Kemerdekaan Yang Ke-49!!!
I just find it to be kind of bizarre when the commercial (annoucement or whatever suitable term) for Siti’s wedding on Astro said/called it “suatu peristiwa penting negara”. As for Mawi and Ina’s case, wouldn’t it be better if they actually solve their problems or differences privately instead of having another stupid reality talk show? My honest opinion is that Siti’s wedding was way, way, way over publicized and emphasized by the media. Same goes for Mawi and Ina’s break up crisis though the publicity and emphasis given to them can’t beat Siti’s. Maybe every single future celebrity wedding and break up should be considered an important event of Malaysia and entered into the Malaysian history… NOT!Last but not least, sorry to offend all Siti and Mawi fans who are reading this comment. This is my personal opinion. If you don’t like it, that’s really your problem 🙂

mmm… well can i say we’re becomin more focused each day huh..?? Thing is we’re actually focusing on sumthing thats geez i dont even know.. mawi ??? siti ??? errrr too bad…whats in it to us anyway ? tomorrow Malaysia will be celebrating its 49 bday.. hope malaysians will be more like malaysian and be malaysian.. dont care bout the malaysia boleh stuff cuz thats really HAHAHAHAHA..we’re boleh in sumthing thats not really us.. sorry to say this but thats the fact we’re actually in it..Lene, to call it as peristiwa penting negara is really bulls**t aint it ?? peristiwa penting negara is sumwhat we will appreciate one day and glad that we are part of it..and im glad (am I that glad ??nah..) theres ppl like u and Kevin share the same thote..its good to know tho..so one point for Lene n Kevin there.hey.. make me the hero who fights for our beloved fellas in palestine or lebanon i’d rather spend days there and fight for ’em and be back in malaysia and tell to myself what a wonderful malaysia is (well for now at least) and kalo umur panjang to tell my grandkids one day ‘hey thats atuk.. arent u all glad u have atuk like me..??’ but im more afraid to hear this from ’em one day ‘whatever atuk!!!’ im out!!! ..awww that’d be sad.. so from now on i should teach my kids to learn their roots and values (if i have ones)..and to my other half i mite not be Datuk K but u know lifes like that hehehehe..so just be happy what u have now OK darlin’ and i want more kids from u when the time comes ok.. !!??? so when are u goin to marry me ?? hahaha.. chill out darlin.. got carried away here now our sisters n brothers know more bout celebrities and trust me if theres questions bout ‘celebrities’ they’d score A+++.. Once Tun Abd Rahman shouted to us MERDEKA !! so let us be MERDEKA and start competting for the best .. errr Pak Lah are we goin down instead of goin up ??? HAPPY MERDEKA MALAYSIA !! I have my lebanese friend staying with me while we find a better place for him to live for 7 months. and he seemed so excited to watch Siti’s wedding ceremony (also frustrated). we do care about what happens in palestin and lebanon but what can we do after donating some money? u nak ke pergi ke palestin tolong tembak askar zionis? that’s the question, kita prihatin tapi apalagi yang kita sanggup but selain bercakap? utk datin siti, hmmm kenapa tak tunggu lama sikit, tak sempat nak tumbuh misai macam datuk K haha!

Well it’s all better headlines than “KLCC attacked by suicide bomber” or “Ex-porn star running for mayor”. Malaysia is one truly peaceful place to be. We don’t have natural disaster thanks to Indonesia. It’s like malaysia is in the cradle of God. Anyway, Happy 49th Merdeka Day. Hope we will be independent thousands years to come.

I am so sick of both Siti and Mawi! Siti because her wedding was like a TV3-produced entertainment show. Mawi because it was just an engagement. It’s not like they are married with kids. Anyways, SELAMAT MENYAMBUT KEMERDEKAAN YANG KE-49!!!

can’t even think of anything more to comment on those quadruplex…sigh!!to me its the media la…something or some1 is controlling them..don’t they have better things to report?…a lot of other things that should be published (real pictures/news that we seen on internet)….though we seem to be at peace…but a lot of malaysians didn’t really realize there are a lot of issues that need to be focused on rather than these 2 couples.

Well…being far from Malaysia make me realise something…I proud to be a Malaysian..But sometimes I do hope that our people will open up thier mind and realise that there’s thousand much more things that they should focus…except gossip…Instead on caring about all this celebrities…why dont we all start thinking of all the people that caught up in poverty…social issues…Life will be better if U did isnt…
