Memang selalu sangat saya menerima email yang bertanya tentang Herbalife. Malah selalu pelbagai pihak berjumpa dengan saya untuk jadikan saya jurujual. Tapi saya kurang suka menjual produk yang saya sendiri tak guna. Jadi hari ini, ini adalah Herbalife Malaysia Review dan biarkan saya merumus produk Herbalife Formula 1 Nutritious Mixed Soy Powder secara jujur.

Sebelum apa2, biar saya katakan bahawa saya bukanlah jurujual produk-produk ini dan of course tidak menerima apa2 ganjaran daripada mana-mana pihak.

Formula 1 Nutritious Mixed Soy Powder merupakan produk pengganti sajian. Ia bekalkan protein, karbohidrat dan lemak mengikut kadar kalori (lebih kurang) 40:40:20. Kalau anda pembaca eBook-eBook saya, sudah pasti anda faham kadar kalori. Secara ringkas, kesemua produk suplemen pengganti makanan dihasilkan untuk membekalkan kesemua makro-nutrient (karbohidrat, protein dan lemak). Jadi pengguna tidak perlu pening kepala untuk mencari makanan sendiri!
Bagus kan? Memang bagus.

Adakah ia mengandungi ramuan "luar biasa" untuk kurangkan berat badan?

Jadi macamana boleh kurus pulak? Bila anda gantikan makanan seharian anda yang kurang baik dengan makanan yang lebih baik (daripada suplemen) ia secara tak langsung membantu anda hasilkan defisit kalori.
Jaid dengan adanya defisit kalorie ini, anda akan kurangkan berat badan. Itu adalah asas weight loss yang paling ... well ... asas! :)
Saya sendiri pun selalu menggunakan produk2 MRP (meal replacement packets) semasa belajar di US kerana dengan nila matawang US dollar, gunakan produk-produk seperti Herbalife Formula 1 Nutritious Mixed Soy Powder, MyoPlex dan lain-lain memang murah. Sekali makan hanya perlu belanja USD1-2.
Malangnya di Malaysia, kosnya agak berbeza. Bukan sahaja kos tukar mata wang asing malah dicampur dengan kos pengangkutan, pemasaran dan lain-lain. Jadi sebagai pengguna, kos untuk 1x Formula 1 Nutritious Mixed Soy Powder (550g) adalah RM160 (lebih kurang) untuk 20 hidangan. Jadi kos setiap kali makan adalah RM8.
So dengan kos RM8, adakah ia berbaloi? Well itu bergantung kepada individu. Sekiranya kos produk herbalife tidak menjadi beban kepada anda, sememangnya ok anda ingin gunakan Herbalife untuk jangka masa panjang.

Jadi berbaloi tak Herbalife? Dari segi nutrisi memang berbaloi dan boleh dijadikan pengganti sajian sesiapa pun. Sama ada anda mampu untuk mengamalkannya untuk jangka masa panjang hanya anda yang tahu. My advice: tiada masalah gunakan Herbalife atau mana-mana produk MRP untuk "suplemen" pemakanan anda tapi akhirnya anda perlu pastikan 1) anda mampu mengekalkan berat badan TANPA mana-mana suplemen dan 2) jangan sekali-kali bergantung kepada mana-mana suplemen untuk menggantikan cara pemakanan dan senaman am

SHAH ALAM - Maintaining a healthy diet is crucial for both mental and physical well-being as highlighted by fitness coach Kevin Zahri and clinical psychologist Yasmin Khan during She Leads 3's event at Sinar Daily in Karangkraf Group Complex here yesterday.

Kevin Zahri, a strong advocate for physical fitness, also stressed the importance of mental fitness.

"If you are slightly overweight but happy with how you look in the mirror, that is enough. However, if you are not satisfied, then it won't work," he said.

He stressed that people should not aim for an ideal weight but rather for happiness and what makes them feel good.

"Life does not have to be perfect; striving for perfection can make things difficult," he added.
Kevin also noted that social media is often used for dietary advice, such as keto, Atkins, and non-sugar diets.

He highlighted the importance of consistency in whatever diet one chooses.

"Social media can be both great and terrible because it offers so much information.

"What's important is to maintain the diet you choose from social media consistently. If you can't follow your own advice, what's the point?" he said.

He further emphasised the need for self-education to control diet and nutritional intake and warned against taking things too seriously.

"Moderation is boring, but it's important not to seek fast results through shortcuts like skin pills," he added.

Kevin highlighted the importance of recognizing that everyone has unique nutritional needs.

"Better nutrition and a better diet are different for each person and should align with personal goals," he told the audience.

He also stressed the significance of making one's journey a personal battle rather than comparing oneself to others.

Yasmin addressed the universality of mental health issues and the difficulty of finding one-size-fits-all advice regarding diet and mental health.

"Even with a balanced diet, people can still face issues like body dysmorphia," she said, noting that mental illnesses can persist despite healthy eating habits.

She advised that while diet can affect mood, it's important not to overly restrict oneself.

"Dieting is a personal journey, and whether a diet is good for someone mentally depends on the individual," she said.

Yesterday's event, "Elevating the Fitness of Your Body and Mind," was part of Sinar Daily's She Leads series held at Karangkraf Group Complex.

It covered topics related to diet's connection with mental and physical health, managing premenstrual syndrome (PMS), handling work-life stressors, and coping with grief from losing loved ones, among other sub-topics.

Today, I saw you leave for Bosnia for a 6-week journey to pursue your dreams of becoming the best tennis player you can be. I cried reading it. I am crying now. I thought I would cry at the airport, but perhaps your leaving did not sink in. I am going to miss holding and hugging you every day and giving you Eskimo kisses. Spending all that time together training as father and daughter is the happiest time of my day.
